Three Keys to Successful Basic Business Blogging: Reading, Commenting, Writing

commenting on: Commenting on others' blogs is building relationships. You'll get noticed by other bloggers and blog readers. Comments should increase the value of the article. Some things you can do it in the comments: share example relates to the article, add a point to add a useful link, disagree, or ask a question. When you post a comment, be sure to include your name and a link to your blog. You May just get bloggers link to your blog.
write: This is part of taking care of everyone. What will I write about? How will I be able to keep up with it? Here are some basic writing tips:
* Keep it short. It does not have to be a long post. One to three short paragraphs is more than enough.
* Make it specific. Do not be vague. People will get bored and move on, unless it is an interesting and valuable for them.
* Keep it interesting. Use images or formatting (bold, italics, lists) to create eye appeal.
* Do not be too self-promotional. Of course, this is your business. But this is not the place for the sale of land. This is a place where people can come to get educated. They know where you'll find when they want to do business.
* Create interesting titles. They can be funny, my mother (a list of 10 tips) or keyword rich for search engine optimization.
* Writing regularly, at least once a week. I suggest two to three times a week. Personally, I do every day after work.
Well now you're wondering: "What can I write about? It's not so hard to get to the issue as you think May. Some suggestions:
* List 5 ideas, trends and thoughts
* list of relevant links with a brief comment about why you find valuable each
* Share a recent experience you've had
* Answer the questions your customers or prospects often ask
* Comment on other blog articles you read
* Switch on the press release in your blog (again, pinching it so it's not too self-promotional)
How do I promote my blog?
1 E-mail to all your friends, family, colleagues, and to announce the launch of your blog. If you have already started blogging, send a notice of 6 months, 1 year, or the 50th blog post.
2 Shop by articles with similar bloggers.
3 Turn on the blog article in your newsletter and make sure you have a link to your blog.
4 Use on-line business networking sites such as Digg, Facebook, LinkedIn, and let everyone know your blog.
5 At the end of your article, ask questions and seek comments. Put it in bold.
